The MCR

The Members’ Common Room (MCR) was created by building a mezzanine floor within the original Victorian kitchens of the Great Hall.

The vaulted ceilings have been restored to their former glory, allowing guests to enjoy the preserved Victorian architecture. A contemporary space which retains its historic origins, the MCR today is a unique event venue, complete with private south facing terrace.

A stylish and versatile setting for receptions and small dinners.

During the week,  you can enjoy seasonal fine dining, curated cocktails and a warm welcome – please visit the MCR for further information.
